A far cry from the Mall

Kamini is probably one of the last places where one’s supermarket shopping receipt, (today 6th December 2010), is hand scripted on a page torn from a 2008 diary, January 17th.

It may not offer the variety in selection, or the hi-tech trolleys and computerised bustle of a K-Mart super shop, but we still prefer our local supply store.

Plus the parking is easier!

Oh… and did we mention, if a delivery truck is required, ours arrives no charge, on four furry legs with big ears and an awefully loud and obnoxious horn.

An awesome show at dawn

Hydra is famous for spectacular sunsets … but how about this (un-PhotoShopped) sunrise in Kamini, early December.

Weather and boats ashore; not shots of people in ballot lines, or purple fingers, or thumbs in the air, or  other flag-waving events associated around the world when electing a new politician. Simply how outer Kamininstan viewed the day queue free… may the best man have won!!

The weather helped make it the holiday it should be.
